Bull Jump, Hamer Bull Jump Ceremony, November 2007
The actual Bull-Jump. As part of getting married, the groom-to-be has to go through this manhood ceremony, where the tribe’s bulls are lined up side-by-side and held in place while the candidate takes a running jump and runs across the backs of the bulls. This is repeated to satisfaction, and then the ceremony is over.
